Anchorage police have released a dashcam video of citizens and a police officer who saved a driver's life Sunday by freeing him from a burning car.

Police had responded to a rollover crash on Middlerock Road that left a vehicle on its side, with the driver's arm trapped beneath the vehicle. In a video from one of the responding police cruisers, Officer Mitchel Veenstra can be seen rallying four bystanders to help push the vehicle clear of the driver, about a minute before the vehicle bursts into flame.
