AACCC Adoption of the Week: Meet Bailey

Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of AACCC Public Relations Coordinator Laura Atwood:

No plan for today? Here's an idea: play ball, play tug, take a walk, play ball, play tug…..Signed, Bailey

Meet Bailey, a 1.5-year old spayed pit bull who thinks the world is her play pen. Bailey is a busy girl who will jump from one activity to the next, pausing for a moment to cuddle and give a few kisses, and then she's off again. She's also smart and already knows her basic commands. This combo of high-energy and intelligence means she is an awesome dog that will greatly benefit from an active home and more training. We say it all the time – dog sports are a great option for dogs like Bailey. Bailey has lived with children, cats and another dog but her former owners did not comment on how she did with them. Based on interactions at the shelter, we recommend that Bailey be the only canine companion and that introductions to other dogs be managed slowly and positively. Bailey can be adopted for $72 which includes a microchip, vaccines, and MOA license.
