A shooting Saturday afternoon in Anchorage's Spenard neighborhood left one man injured, Anchorage police said.
According to police, the shooting happened around 1:04 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Northern Lights Boulevard. Witnesses said several shots were fired during an argument between two groups of people in a parking lot. One man was hit in the leg by the gunfire and taken to a hospital, police said.
The person or people responsible for the shooting fled in a vehicle, but no descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle were available as of 7:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.
