Spenard Roadhouse 8th Anniversary Party

Guinness, limericks, rogues and wenches

Can't wait another month for St. Patrick's Day? Get a preview at McGinley's 10th annual Great Guinness Toast and limerick writing contest. Anchorage Boat Show

If being on the water looms large in your summer plans, you'll want to check out the Anchorage Boat Show. Learn to boat, fish, shrimp, crab and navigate Alaska waters from the pros. All tickets-holders get a free copy of Fish Alaska or Hunt Alaska Magazine. Gin and tonic class

21st Annual Symphony of Sounds

See what the up-and-coming class of Anchorage musicians is up to at UAA's Symphony of Sounds. Performed in a nonstop collage format, the concert spans musical styles from jazz, opera and classical to musical theater. Spenardi Gras 2017

Persian New Year Celebration and Performances

Check out this traditional Persian New Year, or "Nowrouz," with Persian food, traditional dance performances, poetry, a silent auction and wine bar.
