Running of the musk oxen
You may have heard about the annual Running of the Reindeer. Since 2002, the Musk Ox Farm has held a Running with the Bulls as well. Basically, a series of fun runs that are musk ox adjacent. You can go to check it out or take part in the running — it's $15 for children and $35 for adults. Included will be live music, snacks, a T-shirt and door prizes. Bib pickup starts at 11 a.m. Sunday. Kids' fun run is at 1 p.m. with other races starting after. The Musk Ox Farm, 12850 E. Archie Road. Register at muskoxfarm.org.

Map Exhibit: Explore Alaska's Arctic Waters
Join Audubon Alaska to celebrate the release of "Ecological Atlas of the Bering, Chukchi, and Beaufort Seas," a comprehensive atlas featuring more than 100 maps of Arctic marine mammals, seabirds, sea ice, subsistence and more. View a selection of maps, learn about conservation work in the Arctic and find out how you can advocate for the local environmental protections. Free. 6-8 p.m. Friday, 49th State Brewing Co., 717 W. Anchorage International Music Festival
The Anchorage International Music Festival celebrates different cultures within Alaska. The concert will feature local performers as well as a featured guest singer Victor Shatetsky. There will also be kids activities, a bouncy house and food from all around the world provided by local restaurants.
