Arts to cure your cabin fever

Get out this weekend with outdoor and indoor art installations, live poetry, musical performances and film screenings at Kincaid Park. Cabin Fever is a project from Anchorage Museum that aims to express the joys and frustrations of Alaska in the winter. Disney in concert

Take the kids out this weekend to enjoy the Anchorage Symphony's take on Disney's discography. Featuring music from classics including "The Little Mermaid," "The Lion King," "Frozen" and more. Nerf wars

Assemble a team and join in the Nerf Wars. Local nonprofit Taikai Corporation is partnering with The Dart Ground, Anchorage's only indoor neon Nerf battleground, to bring you a red-vs.-blue bracket style tournament for all ages. Nerf guns and ammunition will be supplied by The Dart Ground. No outside equipment allowed. $40 per team. 1-4 p.m. Saturday, The Dart Ground, 3101 Penland Pkwy. Roller derby

AI meets Go

Enter the exciting world of Go, an ancient Chinese game with almost endless board configurations. Life is a circus

This is your last weekend to catch "A System of Strings," a show created and performed by circus artists Ariel Schmidtke and Esther de Monteflores, which features shadow puppetry, trapeze, wire walking, acrobatics and more. Organizers note that while it's not specifically geared toward children, it's suitable for all ages.
