Coming soon: Watsky album tour, a jazzy tribute to Ella Fitzgerald and ‘Phantom of the Opera’

A Tribute to Ella — Capathia Jenkins and Aisha de Haas, along with the Anchorage Symphony, will perform some of jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald’s biggest hits, including “It Don’t Mean a Thing” and “Summertime.” $35-$59. 8-10 p.m. Saturday, Atwood Concert Hall, 621 W. Sixth Ave. (centertix.com)

Winter Swing Bash — Anchorage Swing Dancers will show off their new dance moves at this black-tie event. Watsky’s “Complaint” Tour — Watsky is stopping by Alaska while he tours the UK and Ireland after the release of his fifth LP, “Complaint.” The young rapper, writer and performer mixes silly and serious along with simple and complex in his pieces. He has been a guest star on “Ellen” and “Last Call with Carson Daly,” and was featured in Billboard Magazine and The New York Times Magazine. $35-$65. 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Williwaw Social, 609 F St. (eventbrite.com)

The Phantom of the Opera — Come and see Colony Drama’s production of “The Phantom of the Opera.” The story follows Christine Daae, a soprano singer who becomes intrigued by the mysterious being living under the Paris Opera House. $15-$20. 7-10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Thursday, The Glenn Massay Theater, 8295 E.
