Say aloha to some ono food and reggae this weekend

Aloha in Alaska Music Festival 2019 Attend this event for a day full of reggae music, dancing, ono food, clothes and craft vendors. This is a great family event for everyone in the community. $10-$100. 2-10 p.m. Saturday, Tikahtnu Commons, 1142 N. Muldoon Road.

Archaeology in Alaska: The Neva Shipwreck Join Alaska’s former state archaeologist Dave McMahan in a lecture about his work on the Neva shipwreck project, which focuses on the Russian ship that disappeared during its three-month voyage and never returned. Free. 6:30 p.m., Friday. Anchorage Museum, 625 C St.

Avery Wolves Listen to the high energy, psychobilly band from Fairbanks. Their music has roots in punk rockabilly and country. Free. 9 p.m.-midnight Friday, Koot’s, 2435 Spenard Road and Saturday at Van’s.

Arctic Valley Summer Jam Festival Enjoy an event filled with great music, food, drinks, and company while looking at the Chugach Mountains. Performances by The Jephries, Rabbit Creek Ramblers, Becky Kotter and SunDog. $20-$35. Children under seven attend for free. 12-9 p.m. Saturday, Arctic Valley Ski Area, Mile 7 Arctic Valley Road.

PAW Patrol Live Based off of the popular animated series of the same name, in this live-action production PAW Patrol discovers a secret treasure map and rescues Cap’n Turbot from a mysterious cavern. $23-$140. 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday. Pure Barre Pop-Up Fundraiser Burn some energy and tone up your muscles with an energetic barre workout, an exercise that incorporates hybrid ballet stretches and dance moves, to fund-raise for the Lost Lake racing team. All proceeds will go to the Lost Lake fundraiser in support of those with cystic fibrosis. $16. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Williwaw Social, 609 F St.

Tom Clark LiveCome listen to Tom Clark, a comedian who has been seen on Conan, Last Comic Standing and more. There will be a complimentary appetizer buffet for the first hour of the show. $35-$50. 7-9:30 p.m. Friday at 49th State Brewing Co., 717 W. Third Ave.
