Not in a Halloween mood? Here are other things to do in Anchorage this week.

Perseverance Theatre presents “Devilfish” — Aanteinatu is the only one in her Southeast Alaska village to survive a sea monster’s attack. A mysterious wolf and an ethereal legend guide the child to find the wisdom and strength to become the woman of her destiny. Cyrano’s Theatre Company presents “Summerland” — History meets mystery in this Alaska premiere performance of a play by Anchorage playwright Arlitia Jones. This drama tells the story of William H. Mumler, a Victorian-era spirit photographer who captures haunting images of the dead from the world beyond the veil. $23-$25. 7-9 p.m. Friday-Sunday, Thursday through Nov. 3. Extracurricular Vol. 2 — This event kicks off with a red carpet pre-show, hosted by Alice Glenn and Melissa Shaginoff. Next up is a theater production about the history of drag by Golden Delicious/Brooks Banker, local drag queen and LGBTQ+ activist. After that is a performance with Ruby Suzanna and electro-pop ensemble by Nrrth. The event closes with a hands-on lab to transform everyday items into something new with beadwork. Rock ’N’ Roll Bingo — Instead of numbers being called out, host Kyle Farrell will play 15-20 second bursts of songs from the past and present. The numbers on the bingo cards have been replaced with artists and song names. Prescription Drug Disposal Event — Dispose of any expired or unneeded meds, no questions asked. No sharps or liquids. Drop off the meds in a lined bag.
