Andy Mullen, ‘Davos’

This is a song I wrote when I was doing a radio show in Girdwood with Jay Bell. We wanted to write jingles for the amazing products and services the town offered. But because we were a community radio station and not commercial, we wrote songs about the streets of Girdwood instead. Girdwood Street Music as we called it in the industry. This features Andy and the Andys with a couple of special guests. Drummer Andy has been a real jerk and we’ve quarantined him to the chicken coop with bats. Don Gates is guest drummer from his purple barn up on Lazy Mountain. Lynx Mullen fills in on background vocals. 4 and half minutes.

Palmer resident Andy Mullen’s musical talents are best known from his work in the Denali Cooks. But from Mullen’s days in Girdwood, he penned a number of odes to the little ski burg. Here’s what he posted about the song on his Facebook page:
