Happenings through the weekend: Concerts galore, including Lupe Fiasco and Dillon Francis

Concert season in Anchorage is back. Whether you’re into folk or funk, there’s something to be enjoyed by everyone this weekend.

Rapper Lupe Fiasco is coming to Alaska for the first time Sunday for an outdoor performance downtown. Other out-of-state talents are making their way to Anchorage this weekend, including comedian Billy Wayne Davis and electronic musician and DJ Dillon Francis.

Also, with the Live After Five and Arts in the Park concert series both in full swing, local musicians are headlining around town, including I Like Robots and the Tanana Rafters.

Live After 5, I Like Robots — I Like Robots will be front and center at Town Square Park for Live after 5, a free weekly concert series. The group’s five members will do what they do best, playing iconic ’80s hits for the masses. 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday. 544 W. Fifth Ave. (More info on Facebook)

Billy Wayne Davis Live — Standup comedian Billy Wayne Davis will perform two live shows at Koot’s. The writer and actor previously appeared on “Conan” and “Last Comic Standing.” $20. Shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday. 2435 Spenard Road. (More info on Facebook)

Arts in the Park Concert Series, the Tanana Rafters — Listen to live music from the funk-rock and blues band the Tanana Rafters for this free concert series. Music will be made rain or shine on the Anchorage Museum’s front lawn. Free. 5:30 p.m. Friday. 625 C St. (More on the Museum’s website)

Ava Earl album release — Girdwood’s own Ava Earl will be performing her fourth studio album, “The Roses,” this Friday at an album release concert. DILLASKA — Electronic musician Dillon Francis is partnering with Showdown Alaska to present DILLASKA, with music from Phantoms, Ship Wrek, Dot and Gerald. Tiffany, featuring members of L.A. Guns — Tiffany Renee Darwish, known by her stage name, Tiffany, will be delivering a night of rock in the parking lot of Koot’s. Her voice may be familiar; she used to be a voice actress and played Judy Jetson in “Jetsons: The Movie.” Food trucks will be onsite. Lupe Fiasco — Grammy-award-winning rapper and musician Lupe Fiasco is coming up north for his first-ever show in Alaska, happening this weekend.
