The 'View From Up Here' at the Anchorage Museum

The "View From Up Here: The Arctic at the Center of the World" international art exhibition runs May 6 through Oct. 2 at the Anchorage Museum. The show highlights investigations into the Arctic through film, photos, sculptures and installations. Pieces are slated to travel to Canada after the show closes, with public programs scheduled in New York, Iceland and Norway. Featured artists include Derek Coté with Paul Haas, Magali Daniaux and Cédric Pigot, Nicholas Galanin, John Grade, Anna Hoover, Christoph Kapeller, Mary Mattingly, Annesofie Norn, Marek Ranis, Bryndís Snæbjörnsdóttir and Mark Wilson, Jeroen Toirkens and Paul Walde.
