MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. -- Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Monday that the Republican party is breaking its pledge to stay neutral while pouncing on GOP rivals who attacked him at a weekend debate.

A slow-moving storm in South Carolina left parts of Charleston underwater and dumped a more than a foot of rain on parts of Columbia.

The nine South Carolinians killed in Sunday's crash in Soldotna included a family of five and a family of four, both from Greenville.
