The SMPS Alaska Chapter recently awarded its 2014 Continuing Education Scholarship to Monica Bradbury of DOWL HKM. This $1,500 scholarship was awarded to assist her in attending the national SMPS Build Business Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Bradbury is the Alaska North Pacific Division marketing manager for DOWL HKM and has more than 10 years of experience in marketing and business development. She plans to attend the Basics of Business Development preconference workshop and numerous conference breakout sessions in hopes of bringing valuable information and ideas back to her firm. Monica is also eager to spend a few days with other SMPS members who are as excited about learning something new as she is, and with whom she can build positive working relationships.
The mission of the annual SMPS Alaska Chapter Continuing Education Scholarship is to provide continuing education to Alaska A/E/C marketing and business development professionals. The scholarship can be used toward educational coursework or industry conferences.
