Photos: Meet the mushers of Iditarod 2015

The first musher to leave the starting line in Anchorage on Saturday for the 43rd Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race will be Canadian rookie Rob Cooke. Seventy-eight mushers later, veteran racer Zoya DeNure will be the last musher to leave.

The 2015 Iditarod field includes competitors hailing from seven nations, and will see six former champions vying for another victory.

The field also includes a number of family rivalries, including four-time champion Lance Mackey and his brother Jason Mackey, sisters Anna and Kristy Berington, four-time champion Martin Buser and his son Rohn Buser, and last year's winner Dallas Seavey and his dad Mitch Seavey, who won his second Iditarod in 2013.
