Dancer Josh Murry of Portland-based dance company BodyVox led a workshop for West High School dance students in Anchorage on Tuesday.

Murry taught West High instructor Lori Bradford's students a few techniques for stacking dancers onto each other to create different shapes and led a circle of improvisational movement in which students passed an imaginary "energy ball" to each other.

BodyVox combines dance, theater and film in their productions. They will perform March 27 and 28 in the Discovery Theatre at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.
