Letter: America needs Christian morals, discipline

In a recent letter, a man named Stephen O'Brian wrote in asking if people have forgotten the teachings of Christ. From what the lamestream media is doing and the liberals bent on removing all aspects of Christian teachings, more people are forgetting those teachings, because there are also fewer people teaching true Christian morals.

Ever since liberals got their wish about removing the Bible from public schools, American morals have gone the way of the Titanic. If you want Christlike teachings, you have to do it yourself. Bring others like yourself in and start a grassroots movement to get Christianity brought back into schools.

I saw a quote one time that said if Bibles and Christianity hadn't been banned from school, there'd be no need for them in prisons. Bring back prayer before classes, bring back teaching religion — not the watered-down stuff liberals want with its new emphasis on Islam — but real religion. Bring back parents disciplining their kids and I can guarantee that American morals will properly realign.
