In spite of the Trump administration's slowness to fill many government positions, some redundancy has been created in departments like the Environmental Protection Agency. Administrator Scott Pruitt's resignation promotes Deputy Administrator Andrew Wheeler, a former coal industry lobbyist, to becoming acting administrator.

It looks like there wasn't just one fox guarding the chicken coop, there's a family! When the regulated become the regulators, there's more opportunity to continue the anti-environmental course set by this pro-industry administration. Stay alert, watchdogs.
