Letter: Thanks, letter writers

I would like to thank the people who take a little time out of their day to share their thoughts with us.

I was really disappointed when the city of Homer could only turn out 16 percent of the voters to decide on the funding of their new police station. However when I read the letters to the editor, my faith is restored in the people.

I may not always agree with the writers, but I sure admire that they take their time to make their thoughts known. So keep the faith, keep writing in; that is what makes us a great country.
