State House candidate Cliff Groh is right — Alaska needs an income tax to protect the Permanent Fund.
Cliff knows this from his work leading Alaska Common Ground and sponsoring public workshops across the state.
It isn't fair and it makes no sense for Outside workers to use state services but pay nothing. Other candidates know this too, but they are silent.
