Letter: Ferry drama passengers should cool it

]Mutiny on the MV LeConte state ferry! Well, not quite, but it amazes me that the people on board couldn't handle the seven dreadful hours of no power. Had it been a real emergency, they wouldn't last 24 hours.

Didn't they remember to carry that extra bag of beef jerky just in case? One person was more bothered that they did not get to eat the crab dinner that Whaler's Cove Lodge provided. By the sound of it, the crew was doing what they could and I hope they enjoyed that dinner — they deserved it.
