Letter: Quaking in my hiking boots

My iPod holds albums from Carole King. I constantly hum, "I feel the earth move under my feet …" Am I suffering from earworm? No! I definitely feel the earth moving under my feet.

For an explanation, I called Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke. You remember, he is the one responsible for the many recent changes in environmental regulations and policy. He also denies climate change science. Who better to ask?
I believe there is a simple explanation. The tremors I feel are caused by the bodies of John Muir, Rachel Carson, Theodore Roosevelt and Margaret "Mardy" Murie rolling over in their graves.

Honor their memories. Speak up to protect our great land.
