Letter: McCain’s funeral was a shame

It's sad about Sen. John McCain's passing. Yet I wonder why the liberal, socialist left is all of a sudden gushing with praise of the man. They didn't do that while he was living. Makes you wonder why? I believe it's simple. They are using him as another tool to attack President Donald Trump.

What is truly sad to me is the fact that a man's funeral should end in bitterness and a lack of forgiveness. That says more about a man and a movement than all the empty words gushed forth from the mouths of supposedly important people.
President Trump should have been allowed to attend and pay his respects. God's heart is a heart of mercy and forgiveness. However, we will be judged by the same measure we use to judge others. In death, John McCain chose not to forgive. In his remembrance, the left chose not to forgive. What does this say about them? Their actions speak for themselves. You decide.

Jesus said, "a good tree bears good fruit, and a bad tree bears bad fruit, you shall know them by their fruit." Once you get past all the media hype and lies, the truth is rather plain to see.

God bless America, and God bless President Trump — the choice of the people. And may God forgive John McCain on the other side.
