Letter: Address the homelessness problem

As I sadly watch the numbers of homeless grow around Anchorage, I must be among thousands who wonder if something can't be done.

I suggest that the municipality get together with Native corporations around the state and hold a number of meetings with the goal being a joint agreement as to some steps that can be taken to address the issue.

If the issue is primarily involving the Alaska Native population, it seems only sensible to suggest Native corporations play a dominant role in attempting to address it.
