Letter: Blame Begich

I hope Democrats never forget, and never forgive, Mark Begich for making Mike Dunleavy our next governor. After four years of Dunleavy, Democrats will look back at former Gov. Sean Parnell's reign as the good old days.

Alaska is a Trump state. If the election were held today, Trump would win again. Dunleavy will attack woman's rights, dumb down our schools and destroy our economy. Gov. Bill Walker was the only chance we had to avoid four years of Dunleavy. Anyone who has done the math knows there is no scenario under which Begich could beat Dunleavy.

Had Walker dropped out, half his votes would have gone to Begich, and half would have gone to Dunleavy. Dunleavy wins. Had Begich dropped out, all his vote would have gone to Walker, giving him the combined vote of the middle and the left. Walker wins.

If the combined vote of Walker and Begich is greater than Dunleavy's, it will be indisputable that Begich's overblown ego singlehandedly delivered Dunleavy to the governor's office.
