Letters to the Editor

Letter: A paper’s professionalism

The Anchorage Daily News never missed a beat during our earthquake and following crises! The morning paper that appears as if by magic every morning is a massive, coordinated effort among several different groups of people. If any one of those groups malfunctions, your paper could not be delivered or just be plain nonexistent.

So thanks to the reporters, editors, press operators, circulation district managers who, at 2-4 a.m., pick up finished papers and take them to the carriers’ locations — and, last but certainly not least, to the carriers who bring your papers to your houses, not later than

7 a.m., no matter what!

What a terrific bunch of professionals we have!
