Letter: School traffic issues

Regarding the ticketing of cellphone use in school zones, I’m in total agreement with the cellphone ban; it’s the ticketing I take issue with. We need to incorporate a camera system to eliminate human prejudices, and the income generated should be applied to such systems.

Further, if we wish to prioritize safety in school zones, we must first tackle the road conditions on school grounds. Entering and exiting some of our schools, the roads are so rutted I immediately thought about the “Domino’s Road Repair Hotline.”
