Gov. Mike Dunleavy was elected governor, not king! That means he should work with the Legislature to prepare a budget. His plan does not give an inch toward compromise and will bankrupt this state. If he insists on his promise of allocating the full Permanent Fund dividend, in the interest of cooperation and good governance, he should compromise by reducing the oil tax credits and/or agree to a state income tax. It’s time to begin petitions for recall before it’s too late.
