Letter: Annoying plane

The Anchorage airspace has been in turmoil with the closed runway. However, there has been more turmoil with unsafe action by a small plane towing an advertising banner for an insurance company. I work a night shift at a local nonprofit hospital, and a small plane keeps buzzing over my apartment, disturbing any sleep.

This plane is also competing for airspace with jets and other aircraft across the Anchorage Bowl, from Palmer to Ocean View. The plane not only endangers the 800,000 yearly landings and take-offs at Anchorage International Airport, but poses a threat to a crash over the 300,000 residents of the community. Please contact your Legislature or the Federal Aviation Administration to express safety concerns.
