In the darkest part of winter, Anchorage knows how to shine a light at holiday time! Thank you to all who came forward to make the season brighter for children and youth in foster care. Jodi Taylor and the community of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted a fabulous party for the families, and the Anchorage community generously donated gifts to the children. Special thanks to GCI, Alaska Airlines, the Alaska Club, AK Bar Association, American Fast Freight, Beacon Hill, Mattel Toys, Solid Rock Bible Church, Rotary Cares for Kids and Alaska Spine and Pain Clinic and many individuals for donating, volunteering, wrapping and delivering.

Special thanks to Michael Dukes and the crew at Radio Station 94.7 Alternative/Movin’ 105.7 and their continuing support of Pump Up the Kids. Thanks all for a warm heart during what can be a tough time of year for youth in foster care.
