Letters to the Editor

Letter: Let’s move on

John Bolton has been portrayed as a “bombshell” witness to the “violation of the Constitution” that President Trump has been charged with. I ask you, if John Bolton is so faithful and patriotic to the United States, why didn’t he report his charges to the country earlier? The book he’s writing accuses the president of lying and it comes out as a leaked excerpt in The New York Times just as the Senate is defending the president.

It makes me believe this is all contrived. Accusations like those the ex-ambassador makes against the president seemingly pop up just at the right time to throw the public into a frenzy, or are so reported by the press. It’s very clear to me most of the free press transcribes only the negative against Donald J. Trump. We’ve heard three years of this political discourse. Let’s move on.
