Letter: Let’s help each other

With the impacts of this virus beginning to cut into the daily lives of so many, it occurs to me that having the luxury of being able to continue working while so many have either lost jobs or had hours severely cut back, I might be able to help in some small way. To this end, I’ve decided that while these events are still impacting our city, my family will be picking up takeout a few nights each week and trying to patronize local businesses however we can. This is surely not going to solve the medical issues we are all facing but will hopefully help to keep doors open and allow our neighbors to stay employed.

I am forwarding this only to put the thought out there and ask you to consider a similar approach when you can. In the end, we’re all in this together.
