Has anyone looked into to asking the municipality to consider delaying or extending the commercial property taxes that are coming due in two payments, July and August? These are usually large amounts. Deferring or spreading them out over 12 months may make the difference as to whether a landlord or business is able to survive for the next six months.
I thought of this as a longtime Anchorage commercial real estate and business owner myself.
