Letter: Sarcasm and coronavirus

The Associated Press recently reported that President Donald Trump has shifted his focus from daily health care briefings to the economy. I, for one, will certainly miss his insightful analysis into the causes and cures for the COVID-19 virus, particularly his groundbreaking suggestion to use disinfectant and ultraviolet light. It is my fervent hope that President Trump will continue to host his daily health care briefings so that voters can truly understand the depth of talents possessed by our great leader.

Although Trump claims his disinfectant cure was offered sarcastically, I’m sure the intended sarcasm in my comments above will not be lost on enlightened voters come November.
