Letter: Blood therapy

We’re told an antiviral drug for COVID-19 is as far off as next year. As a longtime blood donor, it occurred to me that the antibodies people have developed over time after successfully fighting off an illness might be shared with those who receive a transfusion. Is it possible this might be a solution for those most vulnerable in the interim?
