The commentary published by ADN on May 15 authored by Joe Usibelli Sr. and Vic Fischer urged Alaskan’s to sign the Recall Dunleavy petition because the governor has fallen short in the leadership category as it relates to his attempt to rein in Alaska’s spending. While I have great respect for both Usibelli and Fischer by reputation, their editorial is seriously lacking a solution to the devastating cash flow shortfall the state of Alaska is facing, and thus these Alaska icons are guilty of their own lack of leadership. They propose recall but offer no solution to the fiscal shortfall.
