Letters to the Editor

Letter: This must stop now

First, federal officers chased away legal protesters in Washington, D.C. Now, they are in Portland, Oregon, clubbing protesters and bystanders and stuffing them into unmarked vehicles. And the President is threatening to send them to other locations without requests from the mayors of these cities.

This must stop now. We’re too close to the president using forces to attack anyone he doesn’t agree with. Why isn’t Congress taking action, or at least speaking out against this? Our leaders can’t allow this to continue.
