Letter: COVID-19 and Vitamin D

In a study of 782 COVID-19 positive patients and 7,825 negative patients, Israeli researchers found that low plasma Vitamin D levels appear to be an independent risk factor for COVID-19 infection and hospitalization. This suggests that unless you spend significant time in our wonderful sun, a vitamin D supplement may be useful.
