Letter: No to homeless plan

I am opposed to Anchorage Ordinance 2020-66, as it utilizes funds to purchase buildings without specific plans for use or complete projections of future costs, including renovation and funding, client and public safety. Use emergency funds to house people who are losing homes due to COVID-19, i.e, place them in extended stay suite hotels or have an emergency rent fund. Put together a comprehensive plan for dealing with the chronic homeless using input from the entire community.

I ask city leaders to please disclose all comment on this issue, including emails, as it has been stated the majority are in favor of this ordinance. Please show us the plan, show us the money and show us the emails.
