This pandemic is real.
It is a 25-year-old working with people who experience disabilities having his hours cut to four hours per week. It is a 62-year-old taking a 10% pay cut while working 20% more hours to help her agency survive. It is a 22-year-old gig worker working seven days a week to pay his bills. It is a 59-year-old being laid off because the tour boat company she has worked at for over 18 years has to close down. It is a small business owner in Skagway losing her entire year’s income.
This pandemic is not fake, it is not one political party’s evil plot to take down the other, it is not a bunch of lazy people collecting unemployment. It is real; and every example I’ve listed is a real person.
