Letter: Political ads

The start of political season means we are all confronted with advertising of all sorts. This last week, we have seen two different ads that talk about the extensive background and philosophy of Dr. Al Gross, the independent candidate for U.S. Senate.

Then, just yesterday, the incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan’s first ad showed up. It listed his main credential as having come to Alaska and married a local woman. No mention of anything he has done to help Alaskans. No mention of how he has voted repeatedly to eliminate medical insurance for Americans. He may have a wonderful wife, but is that all he’s got?
