Letters to the Editor

Letter: Religious solutions

Now that the tax-free entities known collectively as "The Church" (the buildings, not the Corpus Christi), sit largely vacant and unused, it seems to me that they would surely provide adequate and certainly less expensive housing options than the mayor's current plan for housing the homeless.

I think that Jesus would be on board with this plan.

For instance, I suspect that every homeless person in Anchorage could comfortably fit inside the Anchorage Baptist Temple. Think about it, Mr. Prevo! instead of taking the job at Liberty University, you have a golden opportunity to be known as the guy who solved Anchorage's homeless problem, and God can get some credit too!

That’s what I call a win-win.

Have a nice day, everybody.
