Letter: Silence is cowardice

Let’s face it, Alaska, Sen. Dan Sullivan is a coward. He stands by silently while the President defames war heroes. This is not surprising, because this is just the latest in a string of complicity he has engaged in with the President. He offers no objections to any of his lying or misdeeds and when asked about it, he either says nothing or he gives a party-line answer, hoping that will placate those who are interested.

Well, his silence on these matters is not only insufficient in his role as our senator, it’s downright cowardly. He must not want to offend his big Outside campaign donors. Maybe it’s time to replace this interloper from Ohio with a true Alaskan.
