Letter: Kill the microphones

The presidential debate was very frustrating. I realize that to understand a candidate’s policies, one must go to their website and see what they propose in detail. Yes, both candidates interrupted each other, but it was especially Donald Trump who seemed to talk over everyone, including the moderator.

I propose that for the next debate the moderator has the ability to turn off the microphone when someone starts interrupting, while the other person has the floor. Then we as, citizens, can have a more personal introduction to a candidate’s policies and listen to what they have to say.
