Letter: Vote Holleman

I think we all owe a debt of gratitude to our veterans, as we do to our teachers, police, firemen, and other civil servants. However, being a veteran, in and of itself, does not qualify a person to serve as a representative. Josh Revak likes to tout his veteran status, as if that alone makes him a good representative for District 25 — and now, thanks to the governor, Senate District M.

I say he’s not a good person to represent our district. He’s a recent transplant from Minnesota who’s basically a right-wing ideologue, and takes his marching orders from Mike Dunleavy and the other Republican Party bosses. He might be a good fit for some of the more extremist fringe districts in the Valley, but not for the more moderate views of Senate District M.

If you want a candidate who has lived and worked in South Anchorage for the last 30 years, has served on the Rabbit Creek and Huffman community councils, and knows the concerns of people in South Anchorage, vote for Andy Holleman for Senate District M.
