Letter: Political parties

In reference to the letter by Dennis Daigger on Sunday’s opinion page, I heartily second his opinion that the major parties must go. Political parties have devolved to the point that they are more like the street gangs in big cities. To get anywhere, you must join one; once in, survival requires that you stay aboard and toe the line.
