Letter: COVID-19 spread

In light of the governor’s recent announcement, people need to stop going out with friends. As a restaurant worker, I see you. I see many going to restaurants with friends, non-household members, sitting close together, without masks. This is not OK. This is one of the reasons why this virus is spreading.

I do not understand why you cannot make that sacrifice. Is it that important? You show up with your masks and think you’re OK because you wore your mask there. You start gabbing and laughing, all the while spreading the disease. Stay home! FaceTime, Zoom, whatever it takes. Don’t go out with non-household members.

Help stop the spread.
