Letters to the Editor

Letter: A carbon-free economy

Alaska needs to address both climate change and new revenue sources. Our state leaders need to work with our congressional delegation to promote legislation that would allow Alaska to pursue carbon-free industries, such as gaming. We should promote selling the Egan Center to the Native Village of Eklutna and make the property a reservation. Eklutna could then open a casino, which would be a huge boost to tourism, downtown Anchorage and Alyeska ski resort.
