Letter: Vaccinate teachers now

I think it is unconscionable to require teachers to return to the classroom without the protection of vaccines.

It is as if you are requiring teachers to spend five hours in a room with 25 students, who carry the germs of 25 families. Not only are the teachers at risk, but their own families are as well.Teachers have been under considerable pressure this past year, trying their hardest to continue teaching under very difficult circumstances. To increase their stress by requiring their presence in school is thoughtless.

It would be easy to vaccinate teachers. Just do it!
