The state of Alaska currently is composed of some 728,903 citizens. We owe oil companies some $743 million in unpaid tax credits. The math then says that each of us owes $1,019.34.
Our Legislature just started its session, so you too might ask the governor and your state representative or senator how he/she plans to pay off your particular debt. My guess is that you will not get a straight answer. Good luck, though.
